Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you need to clean up mess fast then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. robot hoover
If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combination with bleeding-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your house and some on-screen buttons for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode based on dirt levels. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.
It comes with a range of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8, you can use voice commands to control the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's part of a litany of combo robot vacuums with mops, however it's priced at a lower cost than many of the competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to start, including setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process can take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate picture of your living space. In addition the object detection is unpredictable It was able to get around furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn itself over to free itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart features allow you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This keeps the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it struggled with fine engrained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. The operating level of the sound is also high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. You can control all its functions via the Eufy app, which provides an overview of the system and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they are near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It can also reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
Other great features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money on Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice if you are looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It is surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've test.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did well. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small spaces. It's fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a picture of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not connected to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
